Art of Designing Original Characters, The

Rated: Everyone

Producing art by way of drawing takes a vivid imagination. The artist must see the concept in their mind as their hand translates it to paper, while at the same time their eye must return feedback to their brian with what has manifested so that a fluid stream of revisions can be made. This skill is the reason why not everyone starts life with a pencil in hand. Greg Peters is an exception as he is exceptional. Learn from him directly as he talks his way through an original drawing, giving you access to his stream of thinking as the creation takes shape before your eyes.

Don't Lose Your Geek Card

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

ALL-CON's longest running game show returns in 2019!

The ''Classic'' edition of the show that acts as a template for many other Geek Card shows annually pits three contestants against one another in a general pop-culture knowledge quiz show. Each are issued three Geek Cards at the start of the game and are presented with a board of eight categories with five trivia questions each. If a contestant rings in and gives a wrong answer, they lose a Geek Card! In this ''three strikes and you're out'' game, this can spell trouble! But if they get the answer right they earn a point and control of the board. These points are added to the point value of Geek Cards maintained during the game. But if a contestant loses a Geek Card or two, they need not fear! There are Bonus Cards randomly included with questions that act as replacement (or extra) Geek Cards which can be won with a correct answer. There are even randomly placed prize cards that garner special prizes for a correct answer over and above the main prize for the show!

This classic edition of the show will feature trivia derived from movies, television, comics, sci-fi / fantasy literature, music, and other facets of popular culture. Looking for something more specific? Check out the other incarnations of Don't Lose Your Geek Card!

It's a Wrap!

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

Your Favorite Con is drawing to a close after an amazing four full days. You've attended panels, game shows, parties, costume contests, and gaming events. You've met some great celebrity guests and heard amazing tales in their panels. You've taken in the scope of fandom and have plenty of goodies, photos, and memories.

While all good things must come to an end, following Games and Theory’s annual Grand Prize Drawing (as part of Sunday's “Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!”) there’s still fun to be had at the ''It's a Wrap!'' panel! ALL-CON Games and Theory’s own JediCole and Happy Cat, along with any of the staff still remaining on site bring you an interactive post-convention wraipup. When the last game show has awarded its prizes and a lot of leftover stuff has been given away in raffles, the fun continues as the exhausted crew share the highlights and laughs from the long weekend they looked forward to since last year.

This panel has become a favorite end-of-convention haunt for many who are looking for a chance to share their own experiences with a casual crowd. Close out the weekend in style with the kids from the Game Shows track and friends!

Midnight Loot Extravaganza

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: ALL-CON Production

Each night at Midnight (Thu, Fri, Sat) ALL-CON volunteers gather at the upper balcony and prepare to rain loot down upon the attendees below.

The pre-drop includes a moment of silence to mark the loss of the pinata frenzy event which ran in the timeslot from 2006 through 2017. Twelve years was a good run for any single event at ALL-CON.

The first 'drop' is of Mardi Gras style bead necklaces. This serves two purposes. They are easier to throw which allows the volunteers to perfect their aim and style, and the necklaces weigh down the receiver, making it a little more of a challenge for the next two drops.

The second 'drop' is of stuffed animals. The first drop is of smaller, better defined objects. This drop has animals of various sizes (3''-5'') throwm from above with a soft bouncy impact, making them more difficult to catch and allowing them to be thrown harder without fear of injuring the recipient.

The third 'drop' is the most challenging for both the volunteer and the receiver. It involves six hundred balloons being individually dropped with 1-3 prize items inside. The reciver must decide whether to hold the balloon (inflated) in order to continue trying to catch more, or take the time to pop it and retrieve the prize(s) in order to be less encumbered to catch more balloons. Volunteers have to try to throw a wobbly, light, prize laiden balloon accurately enough as to possibly hit someone with it below them.

Onliners

Rated: Adult

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

If you are missing Comedy Central's ''@Midnight'' as much as Half-Ass Productions producer Cole Houston and Hey Kids, Comics! producer Andrew Farmer, this is a show you need to attend!

While it has a game show format, Onliners pits a hand-picked panel of some of the wittiest folks Andy and Cole know going head to head in a pointless competition to come up with the most hilarious answers and observations on all manner of things found on the internet! JediCole is both Executive Producer of Onliners and a panelist in at least one round annually. Original host Andrew Farmer is back with a wide variety of internet-inspired games for the panel which will include the likes of Roy Buckingham (DLYGC Cult Horror Edition) and Danny Gallagher (Match Game).

Points are awarded for cleverly answered questions, but at the end of the day they are meaningless. However, in the final round only two panelists will have the opportunity to vie for the coveted title ''King of All-Con''! There can be only two! (Because there are two shows of Onliners over the weekend.)

Needless to say, this show will be VERY adult-oriented in both language and content. No one under 18 will be admitted.

Rated: Teen

Produced By: ALL-CON Production

Wednesday night, before the convention even opens, once the work has been done setting up the rooms and preparing for the big first day, it's time for the ALL-CON Pre-Con ''Pajama Jammie Jam'' Pajama Party!

Wear your favorite footies or flannels (silkies are fine too as long as you are covered and decent), bring your morning-style mugs for coffee or cocoa and settle in for a 'lock-in' style* evening event! You can bring your favorite book or magazine if you just want to chill, or ALL-CON has arranged some unique activities that won't be offered at any other time during the convention! Don't wait to hear if the rumors are true!

Not comfortable wearing your 'jammies out in public? Consider throwing on a robe over your street clothes, and putting up your hair so you look like you're ready to settle in for the night. It's perfectly acceptable to ''party with your pants on''.

Come to the Pajama Party and be a part of what everybody is going to be whispering about all weekend long!

*While ALL-CON is patterning this event after a classic lock-in, the doors will actually be open to come and go as you please.

Photo Scavenger Hunt

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: ALL-CON Production

Each day ALL-CON offers a different Photo Scavenger Hunt theme. The daily Hunt List is issued at the Volunteer Desk to participants who register for the scavenger hunt. (Lists for subsequent days are not provided in advance.) When you register for the scavenger hunt will be assigned a tracker ID to tag your photo entries with.

When you submit your photo entries via text from your mobile device, there should be two photos for each entry. The first is the actual entry and the second is the same entry but with you in the picture. For example, if the entry is a flower then the first photo would include the flower and the second photo would be the same flower with you in the shot. Photo entries do not have to be made in the same order they are listed on the Hunt List.

The text message should be your tracker ID, the list item name or number, and description of the subject. For instance, if you are playing an Alphabet List and you are going to sumit a photo of a cosplayer portraying Captain Jack Sparrow for your ''P'' entry, and your tracker ID is SA35 then your text with the photos would read: ''SA35 P Pirate''. (For this example, you could have also chosen ''C'', ''J'', or ''S'' for Captain Jack Sparrow. Legitimate creativity drives the contest.)

During the day entries will be judged and some may be rejected. Common problems include: subject out of focus; subject does not qualify (Pikachu is not a ''Raccoon''); or no second shot received.

Rick and Morty: Close Rick-Counters Deck Builder

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Chronicle GTC (Games, Toys, Comics)

The deck-building game is built on Cryptozoic's Cerberus Engine as various versions of Rick serve as both players' oversized Hero cards and the Villainous Council of Ricks. Each player's deck starts with the following cards: seven Genius Waves cards that give you Power, one Beth, one Jerry, and one Summer. The Beth, Jerry, and Summer cards do nothing, but can activate other cards. The ''Kick'' stack in other Cerberus games is now the Portal Gun stack. The Portal Gun activates the Portal deck, which transports a player's hero to a random location from the episode or other popular places from the series. That player may then utilize that location during their turn and has the option of paying the cost of the location to put it into their deck.

Screen Time

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

So many of us live movies. So much so that movie quotes have become something of a second language - the language we share in common with our friends. How steeped are you in famous or popular movie quotes? How about movie trivia? Why not both?

Screen time is part movie trivia, part movie quotes, and all fun. The big twist is that movie quotes are read without inflection or any attempt to imitate the characters or actors. The bulk of points awarded are for correctly identifying the movie, the actor, and/or the character from a movie quote read by the hosts ''as if your grandma was reading the line with no knowledge of the source''. Contestants gain from one to three points per correct identification with recognizing your favorite quotes out of context being the real challenge. Standard trivia and other components round out the game play.

All quotes for the standard edition of Screen Time are certified family friendly, so you can even bring along the kiddos to watch the fun unfold.

Screen Time: Rated R

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

Like the regular Screen Time, but definitely not ''for the kids''! We assure you, no kids stuff here. Apart from the trivia this show plays it pretty blue and utilizes every curse word in the catalog during game play. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED!

Now that we have that out of the way... The same game, same rules as Screen Time, just with some quotes having various four letter words in the mix (or longer ones that are equally dirty). This edition of Screen Time allows for a broader range of movie quotes and allows the hosts to cuss like sailors. Mature audiences only, please. Yes, the rumors are true, JediCole knows bad words and will use them during both editions of this show.

Talking About Drawing and Dancing About Archetecture

Rated: Everyone

Producing art by way of drawing takes a vivid imagination. The artist must see the concept in their mind as their hand translates it to paper, while at the same time their eye must return feedback to their brian with what has manifested so that a fluid stream of revisions can be made. This skill is the reason why not everyone starts life with a pencil in hand. Greg Peters is an exception as he is exceptional. Learn from him directly as he talks his way through an original drawing, giving you access to his stream of thinking as the creation takes shape before your eyes. *The dancing about architecture is a Martin Mull reference with regards to discussing a visual art.
