Social justice has become a common topic in fandom discussions. But have we made any progress? From Cosplay Is Not Consent to #MeToo, we'll look at how the discourse on harassment has become mainstream... and yet still lacks a comprehensive view. We'll also look at how representation has changed with works like Black Panther and Legend of Korra and how some companies are, unfortunately, taking a step back. Most importantly, we'll talk about where we need to go to be a safe, more welcoming community of fans.
