Room: PECAN (2nd Floor, Back) Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

ALL-CON's longest running game show returns in 2019!

The ''Classic'' edition of the show that acts as a template for many other Geek Card shows annually pits three contestants against one another in a general pop-culture knowledge quiz show. Each are issued three Geek Cards at the start of the game and are presented with a board of eight categories with five trivia questions each. If a contestant rings in and gives a wrong answer, they lose a Geek Card! In this ''three strikes and you're out'' game, this can spell trouble! But if they get the answer right they earn a point and control of the board. These points are added to the point value of Geek Cards maintained during the game. But if a contestant loses a Geek Card or two, they need not fear! There are Bonus Cards randomly included with questions that act as replacement (or extra) Geek Cards which can be won with a correct answer. There are even randomly placed prize cards that garner special prizes for a correct answer over and above the main prize for the show!

This classic edition of the show will feature trivia derived from movies, television, comics, sci-fi / fantasy literature, music, and other facets of popular culture. Looking for something more specific? Check out the other incarnations of Don't Lose Your Geek Card!

5:00p.m.: Starship Bridge Simulator (1 hr.)

Room: DIAMOND SUITE (2nd Floor, Back) Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Meow About Cosplay and Crafts; USS Perseverance

Do you have what it takes to defend the sector from hostile enemy fleets? Then join the crew of the USS Artemis!

This is a Star Trek style game where a team of six take control of the stations of a starship bridge. Even if you've never seen an episode of Star Trek, you'll have a great time playing!

Six players (5 stations plus a captain) work together, interacting in real time in the same room, to accomplish a team mission. Team work and good communication mean the difference between saving the galaxy or accidentally flying into a black hole. Yes, this has happened.

• Are you a good pilot? Did you make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs? Helm is for you.

• Have you been called ''trigger happy''? Is Rocket Raccoon your spirit animal? Take the Weapons station!

• Do you want to be the first to discover everything about the enemy? Then Science is the only logical choice.

• Do you like to negotiate? Do you like to insult? (Are you the Senate?) Take up Communications!

• Are you good with resource management? Are you givin' it all she's got, Captain? Report to Engineering!

• And finally, every good ship needs a captain. A good starship captain (or pirate captain) will guide his or her brave crew in the face of overwhelming odds! (gamemaster will set game difficulty to ''Only Slightly Overwhelming'')

Come join us and boldly go where no one has gone before!

Last minute script pages. Scene changes. Unanticipated plot twists. The always evolving and quick study acting on the sets is looked back upon fondly by most of the actors on Battlestar Galactica and completely transparent to fans once the final edit aired. In the Glen Larson era the modern standard of retaining cut scenes was not practiced, but here at ALL-CON we have a pretty good idea of what they might have been like. After this panel you will have, too. Return with us to the Galactica's struggle for survival as Colonel Tigh and Viper pilot lieutenants Boomer and Bojay flash back to having to make Command Decisions.

Room: PECAN (2nd Floor, Back) Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Half-Ass Productions

So many of us live movies. So much so that movie quotes have become something of a second language - the language we share in common with our friends. How steeped are you in famous or popular movie quotes? How about movie trivia? Why not both?

Screen time is part movie trivia, part movie quotes, and all fun. The big twist is that movie quotes are read without inflection or any attempt to imitate the characters or actors. The bulk of points awarded are for correctly identifying the movie, the actor, and/or the character from a movie quote read by the hosts ''as if your grandma was reading the line with no knowledge of the source''. Contestants gain from one to three points per correct identification with recognizing your favorite quotes out of context being the real challenge. Standard trivia and other components round out the game play.

All quotes for the standard edition of Screen Time are certified family friendly, so you can even bring along the kiddos to watch the fun unfold.

11:00p.m.: Death Battle Debate III (45 mins.)

Room: PECAN (2nd Floor, Back) Rated: Everyone

Produced By: In Our Nerdy Opinion

Do you watch ScrewAttack's internet series DEATH BATTLE? Have you ever imagined what would be the result of certain pop culture characters duking it out in a fight to the death? Are you good at debating? Then Death Battle Debate III is for you!

Returning once again for ALL-CON 2019, the team at In Our Nerdy Opinion is presenting their third installment of Death Battle Debate, where they present to you a top 10 list of battles they have submitted to the team at ScrewAttack for their series, but there's a catch.

Two members of the audience will compete in a debate contest over who would win said battles, with the audience as the judges for their arguments. Each successful argument scores that contestant one point.

Scoring is based on the arguments themselves with no input from the hosts whatsoever. The contestant who comes out with the most points wins the Death Battle Debate! This contest will also be recorded and posted to their YouTube channel, so if you would like to see yourself competing or participating in the audience, be sure to check it out and share with your friends!

After the battle itself, the hosts from In Our Nerdy Opinion will hold a discussion panel with the audience about the battles presented and who they think would win and why.

Midnight: Midnight Loot Extravaganza (1 hr.)

Room: REGISTRATION LOBBY (1st Floor, Lobby) Rated: Everyone

Produced By: ALL-CON Production

Each night at Midnight (Thu, Fri, Sat) ALL-CON volunteers gather at the upper balcony and prepare to rain loot down upon the attendees below.

The pre-drop includes a moment of silence to mark the loss of the pinata frenzy event which ran in the timeslot from 2006 through 2017. Twelve years was a good run for any single event at ALL-CON.

The first 'drop' is of Mardi Gras style bead necklaces. This serves two purposes. They are easier to throw which allows the volunteers to perfect their aim and style, and the necklaces weigh down the receiver, making it a little more of a challenge for the next two drops.

The second 'drop' is of stuffed animals. The first drop is of smaller, better defined objects. This drop has animals of various sizes (3''-5'') throwm from above with a soft bouncy impact, making them more difficult to catch and allowing them to be thrown harder without fear of injuring the recipient.

The third 'drop' is the most challenging for both the volunteer and the receiver. It involves six hundred balloons being individually dropped with 1-3 prize items inside. The reciver must decide whether to hold the balloon (inflated) in order to continue trying to catch more, or take the time to pop it and retrieve the prize(s) in order to be less encumbered to catch more balloons. Volunteers have to try to throw a wobbly, light, prize laiden balloon accurately enough as to possibly hit someone with it below them.
